RAG Team
The RAG team was a group of volunteers who performed many construction and maintenance tasks at Gluepot. The core of the RAG Team was Gil Pilgrim, Stewart Slade and Bill Santos. Much help was also been received on many projects from the Rangers and their assistants, committee members, Vietnam Veterans, the late Murray Harris, members of the Riverland 4 Wheel drive Club, Rod Bradtke, Mike Mason Fencing, Mark Tripney Earthmoving, Phil Obst Sheds, Ian Kowald, Mike McIntosh and Malcolm Gardner.
As well as the uncountable small jobs that the RAG team performed at Gluepot, they also cleared and constructed 13 kilometers of electric fence, erected 5 bird hides, graded roads and tracks, cleaned out Quinn’s dam, maintained the long drop toilets, built the Library, assisted with construction of the Squirrel shed , Grader shed and Palmer block.
Although the RAG Team no longer exists, the contribution that they made is seen throughout Gluepot, and is continued by more recent volunteers.
