There are five bird hides at Gluepot. Each overlooks an elevated trough that contains water year round. They are elevated to prevent them being used by feral goats, foxes and cats. Four of the hides have been named after people who have contributed greatly to the reserve over many years:
Don and Chris Lill (formerly called Emu Bird Hide)
Wally and Betty Klau (formerly called Old Gluepot Bird Hide)
John Martin (formerly called Whistler Bird Hide)
Josie’s Hideaway (formerly called Grass Wren Bird Hide)
Froggy Dam
